I sometimes feel like I cannot think properly, but please hear this;
I REALLY Can. I guarantee you I don't have any mental disorder or learning disability as I am the top ranker in class. But I sometimes feel like I cannot understand what's happening around me, but I really really can. But the funny thing is: it happens only when I think about it but I think about it everytime including now!

Possibly some of your previous thinking has resulted in negetive results. This could have made your sub-concious to feel that you cannot think properly. Whenever you are not "concious", your subconcious will rule you with that feeling that you cannot think properly.
You need to be mentally cool(peaceful), not judgmental, not having fear etc, to think properly or clearly. Be always concious with your gut feeling that you can think properly, then your negative feeling will runaway...

All the Best.

What you are experiencing is normal. From time to time your mind becomes unfocused. It doesn't mean that you have a disorder or an illness. However, most mental illnesses start off in this way as well. I have a very high IQ but when I got to higher education I became more distracted by my own mind's voice. I out think the speaker. A part of me still heard what the speaker was talking about. It is just that another part of my brain was being active at the time. When you catch yourself doing that, try to focus at what is being said. You may snap back to it... if this remains a problem or it gets worse you may be developing a brain growth. Get checked out by a neurologist.

I would say you have a fear of not understanding and your are allowing it to inter-fear with your life. I had a problem with short term memory for years until I found this supplement call Metal Clarity, it is great. I no longer forget someones name by the end of a conversation and can remember their name the next time I see them. I also remember the thing I need to do in a day without have 10 notes to remind me. You should try this stuff. I love it and would never give it up. The link below will take you to a web site where you can buy it. But if you email or call the lady and tell her about this she will give you 10% off.

When it happens to me I find it is because I have too much on my mind.
