Firstly, don't use hairspray I don't think it helps, use that straightening balm that keeps the fly-aways down. When I use a ceramic straightener my hair does not get wavy again unless I stand in the rain, or it is really really damp outside. I am thinking it is the hairspray, try to go without it. If it still gets wavy, use a different straightening iron, mine is a 'Curlmaster Ceramics' and it works great!

if you want it straight permanently, then go to a salon and get it done, it will save you time in the mornings and there are some straighteners out there that will remain straight forever you'll just need to get the regrowth toughed up about twice a year. The salon i work at does a proceedure called japanese straightening, it takes 6 - 8 hours depending on the length of the hair and costs $400, so make sure you get a price quote up front to know exatly what your getting into. also if you live in a damp or high humidity area, then no matter what you put on your hair before flat ironing it will change back to its natural state.

after u wash ur hair towel dry it and rub in some L'oreal Straight hot cream..its a pink bottle. then dry ur hair with the hair dryer and a brush....then straighten it. it should stay the same. you better put a bit of hair spray to hold it. hair spray locks the little cells that contain moisture n the hair...so this way it will stray straight!
maybe ur hair type is oil, so u could use oil free shampoos and conditioners
also can use
use a straighting shampoo, gel, then straighten it with a nicer straightner. Use hairspray so it holds. Hope this helps
Also,
you can use a flat iron...they work very well at keeping your hair straight...just be careful using them...keep the iron moving, so you won't damage your hair...
Matrix Sleek Look products (bright orange containers). also work

I haven't tried the L'oreal Hot Straight spray. I need to try it out. I don't know if it's just my hair or what, but if I use any straightening shampoo or product in my hair, it makes it curlier. Without frizz of course. So, it makes trying to straighten my hair a nightmare. What works for me to keep it straight for multiple days, is to blow dry it first to stretch the curls, and then flat iron it. I always apply some pomade to my hair before I flat iron it because it holds the straight style very well, but it's not wet, so it doesn't make it wavy. It's also good for the flyaways on the top.

Try a straightening gel and quit using hairspray. It makes your hair damp. Maybe your straightener sucks. I have really curly hair but if I straighten it would stay straight for about 3 days(if I let it).

use L'oreal Hot Straight
it comes in a fuschia colored bottle with a gray top. It's to give heat protection from the flat iron and help keep it straight too.
and hairspray is wet so it will contradict ur flat ironing.

unfortunately there aren't really any remedies that help your hair to stay straight....you can keep using your straightener....you can also try to use a straightening shampoo and conditioner....there is always the option of having your hair permanently straightened....it is really cheap and it works....good luck :)
hope i helped
