Atheism is for those who place enough value upon themselves and other human beings to reject religious dogma, having recognized it as the huge, stinking pile of dung it is.

Atheism is for those who choose not to be Lazy and accept the common belief system.
Fryloc is an atheist, and although he is a narcissistic fatalist (for living and caring for Shake and Meatwad) I don't consider him lazy at all.

Absolutely not! Atheism is for those who actually have a brain and can see the world for what it really is.
In fact, I see most religious people being the lazy ones. Many of them claim to be a part of certain religion, but they sure do not like following the rules. They think simply because they believe in God they will have salvation.
Many of my aquiantances claim to be Christian, but they sure have fun drinkg partying and having pre-marital sex. Last time I checked, that was frowned upon in the Christian faith. They told me since they accepted Christ in their heart and go to church (you know, only on Easter and Christmas) Christ will always forgive them for their sins.
I am not picking on Christians many people of different religions seem to have the same attitdue.
I am atheist because I studied, and thought about the world. Seeing the world from an objectivist point-of-view is what turned me to atheism.

Definitely neither.
Lazy...
Well, is it lazier to agree with what you are told, or to think for yourself? Most atheists were raised as members of religions. If they were lazy they'd have stayed there.
narcissistic...
How is belief or disbelief in a deity indicative of self involvement?
fatalist...
Now this part is funny. Why would an atheist belief in fate? Fate is a religious concept. I reject fate when I reject religion. I don't have a destiny and don't believe that events are inevitable. How does that compare to the Christian?

funny... even in Jesus Camp, they called their religion "the simple answers"... I think being atheistic takes a bit of research if you wish to be strong in it. That means work. So that rules out lazy... As far as narcissistic fatalists? That's just you failing miserably at being funny.

Even as a theist, I would still have to say NO and NO. Most atheists I know personally are actually better behaved and more productive than many Christians I know. Not all, mind you, but there are those who spend more time praying for something (job, health, money, better marriage) than actually working on it. Not to mention, using one's common sense and reasoning takes a LOT of work.
This is simply the rhetoric of religious leaders who want to bad mouth the other opinion in order to keep their flock in line (most often with a big $$ behind it.)

Atheism requires thought, not just accepting some priest/pastor telling me something. I recommend the following books on the subject of atheism; some are kinda difficult.

Neither. Atheism is lack of belief in Gods. Therefore, it is a word used to describe a person who does not believe in Gods.

Personally, I think atheists in general are people who are afraid to trust something or someone else without that someone else proving themselves first. I suspect they might have some relationship difficulties with other people also because of this trait. In fact, I would be very interested in hearing from the spouses or "friends" of atheists in this matter. I think I will pose it as a question. Does that make them narcisstic...no I dont think so and as far as lazy is concerned...again....no.

You just made me throw up a little. You obviously have never had a religious conversation with an educated Atheist. If you would, I'm sure you would discover that they know more about your religion than you.
