What color should I dye my hair if it is dark brown?

Red highlights. They sell the kits at Walmart, I got one the other day. It's red highlights for natural mahongony brown hair.

Depending on your skin tone I would just do a few highlights, maybe a few shades of a lighter brown then a shade of blonde maybe.

you can go with any color.if you decide to go blonde go to a professional. black is very hard to remove once you do it and can be quite harsh on most skin tones. darkest brown even can look harsh. go with warm highlights or if you want one shade auburn or somehting cinammon brown may be good. red would look good on you but that also becomes a pain if you want to change it.

I would say don't dye it and get light brown and golden blonde highlights. Or, if you are totally set on dying it. Dye it light brown and get golden highlights.

Try a red shade. It will work well with your coloring, but give you some pizazz, too. I would try a darker shade maybe an auburn.
