What's wrong with just teaching church science?
I suggest telling the kids that God created everything in 6 days.
Monday to Saturday, I believe in was in the month of March, six thousand years ago.
As for fossils older than that, who cares? All those in favor of church science, reply to this question.

Oh and by the way, God told me he doesn't like Neanderthals -- or their fossils.

I DON'T favor church science but I'm going to answer anyway.
If you don't want your kids taught evolution then either put them in a private christian school or homeschool them. Then you can teach "christian science" to them til the cows come home.
Homeschooling sounds like it would be better for you. By your tone I would say it would be easier to brainwash if you have complete control.

The Science classes in Kansas have not been teaching Evolution all along!? That's crazy. Anyone who has done even the slightest bit of research on evolution should realize its accuracy. Science is not out to get anyone. Science simply put - Honesty
This isn't going to win me any points.
I do not favor church science unless its actual science.

Creationism is B.S. The Bible says that we should study the world and learn about it. Then why would God leave dinosaur fossils as a practical joke.
The "day" spoken of in Genisis is not an "earth day" it's a "God day" It couldn't be an earth day cause the earth didn't exist yet.
I don't know the conversion factor from God days to earth days.

Church science, an oxymoron.
Get out much? Read anything other than that one book?
Just because you can't wrap your small closed mind around reality, doesn't mean you have the right to make sure no one else can either.
Deal with it. Move on. And don't try to tell everyone else what they can, or can't do. It's none of your business and none of your concern. Try working on your own small minded issues. More your size.

You don't teach this in a science class, maybe philosophy class?
Christians who doubt evolution are apt to say things like”evolution is just a theory”. Such statements betray a misunderstanding of the way the term ‘theory’ is used in scientific discourse. In Science, facts must be explained in reference to other facts. These larger explanatory models are ‘theories’. Theories make predictions and can be tested.
The phrase ‘theory of evolution’ doesn’t suggest that evolution is not proven. One can speak about ‘the germ theory of disease’ or ‘the theory of gravitation’ without casting doubt upon disease or gravity theories as facts of nature.

I'm all for remaking history. While we're at it, let's tell our kids that our country never did anything wrong, and we're always right, and our leaders know what's best for us.
