Am I alone in thinking that people who snap their gum are rude? AWWWW so annoying!!!?

There is this woman who sits next to my cubicle who does it all day long.........I'm going crazy!!!!

it is soooo rude and when a lady does it, it's very unlady like. when someone continuously pops their gum, they're thinking only of themselves and could care less about the people close by. it's a very nasty habit. i don't know how you can stand it!!!! if you don't want to tell them yourself, talk with your supervisor and have them talk to them. better yet your supervisor needs to have a no gum policy at the work place, just for her. try it, it's not too unreasonable. good luck!!!

I agree that it is rude. I can't stand people who do this. The sound is enough to drive you nuts. When I'm shopping and someone near me does this I leave the area. Maybe you could talk to your supervisor. She might be able to come up with an answer. Possibly creat a work code of no gum chewing. Good luck.

You are right on the money! I went to the movies a couple weeks ago and this chick in the theater was smacking it like she was the only one in the place. I became very immature and hateful because I started thinking to myself that I hope she chokes on it.

no! My bus driver did that every single day and would snap it about every 5 seconds! Luckily, she quit.
