dont change, highschool is dramatic like that, and the people who talk all that **** to u r the ones who are going to be losers once they get in the real world. It happened to me, everyone said i was a weirdo at school and i always had rumors running about me, but now i got a good man, im a college grad and im workin on my medical degree, and all those haters are stuck at home with children working a crappy job with a dead beat man....

this school that you go to, is it high school? if it is high school then girl you need to know that once you get out of there if will all seem so ridiculous. if you change who you are by pretending to be someone that you are not for them then you will look back and wonder why you did so. please do not change! someday you will find people who like the same things that you do and will love you for enjoying the same things that they do. high school is drama drama drama and in the long run it doesn't even matter. enjoy yourself while you are there by doing the things that you like to do other wise you will be miserable either way so at least be happy playing sports and your name is cool and don't let anybody tell you otherwise!

You just don't fit the typical gender role for an American girl. It doesn't mean you are weird, just that you enjoy different things than most girls. Different is often. made out to be "weird", don't be fooled by others. One of my friends from college is studying to teach welding but she is actually fairly feminine. Now she definitely got a few rude looks or comments and was the only girl in most of her classes, but it works for her and she's happy. She's got plenty of friends and a great boyfriend...don't get too discouraged by what others think or say, it's most important what you think of yourself.

You're not weird, you're just sporty which is a good thing! Maybe you could try and make some more friends at sport clubs, cos then they'd be people who have the same kind of interests as you.

I think it's awesome that you do all of those things... there are so many girls who have certain interests but don't do them b/c it's not girly enough... good for you! And if people at your school think you're weird, forget about them.. life is short and you're doing what you love, and they're just trying to impress everyone else...
