The lady I am taking out tomorrow for Valentines Day approached
me and asked me out. Doesn't this mean that I should have
higher expectations and be able to move a little faster with her
like asking her backl to my place etc. This will be our first date.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez! No, it does not. There is a difference between "easy" and "direct."
Guys always complain about how women are never straight/ forthcoming/ honest/ plain-spoken with them, and then you have a woman who conducts herself that way with you and you think the worst of her!
Try something and I bet this won't just be your first date with her. It will be your last, too.

no matter if i'm relationship someone, i do not see some thing particular about Valentine's day, except figuring out to purchase candies on sale some days after (if i grow to be in the U. S.). Yummm!

No. Her asking you doesn't mean you should have ANY expectations just as you shouldn't have any when you ask someone out, unless something specific has been discussed beforehand.
Play it by ear and have a nice time...no expectations means no disappointments... ☺

No matter who asked who, the question here is do you respect her? If you do, treat her with it and put on your best behavior for the first date. If she initiates more, go from there. Don't just assume she's easy cuz she asked you first.

I ask out guys to....that doesnt mean i want to go to their place the first day...it doesnt mean to higher expectations of her.....thats now the way its going.....if you do that then she will feel like well u get the picture.........toodles

Well what ever you do ,you must not hurry. Show her that you are patient. And do not always try to force her to.. you know..
