Bearshare or Limewire will not come up on your phone bill if you're using a Cable/DSL broadband connection. But take great caution on using those programs. They contain spyware to one form or another. It's how some law enforcement agencys catch ppl downloading movies, music, and sad to say even Child pornography.

If these are like Napster, the charge shows up on your credit card bill. It doesn't appear on your phone bill. I'm on BT broadband and this is how it works for me.

No you just pay for your broadband we are on bt broadband and we just pay by monthly direct debit nothing shows up on bill.

I'm pretty sure it doesnt, since all you do is share your files with other people.
