All depends on the man! Most men would say a cirtain two letters!! B and J but i think a great gift would be A nice meal bottle of wine Some good sex and if you wanted to get a gift maybe something to do with his team or maybe some Jewelry..
Me i am happy with the meal!!! but this year i am cooking up somfin special... and so is my wife.... (my baby which is due in 2 days!!!)

How about a meal at a really good restaurant.
Steak or Chicken or whatever his favourite is.
Even better cook a really good meal for him.
I know this might seem sexist to some, but I know as a man that the quickest way to a man's heart is through his stomach!

What do you give to someone that already has everything ..... I think that a lovely meal and a snuggle on the sofa and watching a nice film would be good.... As for a present.... a nice new pair of le chameau wellies the £300 a pair leather lined with full side zip...
Failing that a BJ is always a welcome gift..... :)

use your imagination, start with the stuff he likes and you dont, thatll show you care about his needs because Id admire it
whats he like, does he like simple purile things ? get him a scalectrix
go to his work with nothing but a done up coat and shoes lol
Is he a 'fixer' buy him something practical thats NOT connected with a job that needs doing.
At the end of the day its the amount of thought that goes into it for a bloke, thats what shows you care
