True they are trying to work out a pecking order, but really isn't that for you to decide. I'm not saying pick one over the other. I am saying you are the ALPHA so you decide, playing to rough or fighting over a toy? Neither of you (dogs) are getting it. My dogs play but if they go beyond a certain level of playfulness I stop them. If you allow them to work it out "by themselves, then you are creating a scene that could cause harm". No, best you put and end to over aggressiveness now! After awhile they will learn limitations.

It sounds like they are clashing about dominance... Some females become dominant and when you get a dominant female in with a dominant male then they will fight... but since they are still young they wont hurt eachother yet... and since they are only yorkies they may not ever hurt eachother, if you are around them and they start "fighting" let them know that it is not acceptable! Stop both of them and see what they are fighting over... I guess you will be resolving the matter for them, if they are together when you are not around I would try to seperate them so they dont hurt eachother. I hope this was helpful for you!!

As a yorkie breeder I have to tell you that yorkies are the most playful pups there are, and it is more than likely they are playing. When one cries you know they are getting to ruff. LOL. If either starts to show a sign of real aggression get a muzzle and when they bite the other put the muzzle on for 5 minutes. each time you have to do this they will learn that it is not ok to bite. In the mean time just put yourself between them then you can tell how hard they are playing. This is usually why I do not let my pups leave at less then 12 weeks so the mother has a chance to teach them.

Make certain the doggy is not round while the alpha is displaying indicators of dominance reminiscent of mounting or relatively protective of the feminine although he's neutered.Watch for the ones signal while the doggy is across the feminine and the alpha while.Get him neutered as quickly as feasible too intent a good way to make the alpha suppose he is not a lot of a risk to his feminine.Alpha will suppose doggy is at this type of low rank that his feminine isn't curious about him.Make certain that doggy isn't round Alpha even as consuming or chewing a bone. That's all of the approaches to male certain they'll get alongside

They learn from each other. Don't worry about it unless they are drawing blood. Remember its a dog it can handle more than we can. And I know my dogs can be extremely loud when they bicker.
Once they get spayed and neutered which should be very soon since they are already competing for alpha it should calm down a lot unless you wait too long. In the mean time if you do not want them to use a squirt bottle of water to separate them. Don't muzzle them

It's normal. They are both looking to be the dominant dog of the house. One will be at one point or the other but they are just pups now and it's more like playing together. Leave them alone, they will work it all out.

First, find witch one starts the aggression.
Then when-ever something goes on between them, you will know without having to see them, witch one started it.
Then take that one, and lay him on the ground on his back. This is a submissive position. Bring the other dog over to him, and let the non-aggressive one, toutch the aggresive one, while the aggressive one is on his back. After doing this a couple of time when they fight, it should help.
I have 5 dogs of my own. and I have had the same-problems... this usually worked.
If it doesn't, consult a 'vet' for more options.

I agree, they are determining who is going to be "top dog". They probably won't hurt each other at this age. And most "fighting" at this age is really just play. But if your worried, keep an eye on them, you'll know when to step in and seperate them.

They will work this out over time. It's all about dominance. Just make sure they don't hurt each other.

they are trying to establish who is going to be the dominant dog....its is a natural process and will work itself out once one dominates the other.....it was great of you to get the two so close together in age
