Ooh, I love these kinds of questions!
I would have to say the UK (call me biased but there you go). Most of our humour is far more sophisticated and therefore more funny, if you like that sort of thing.
The only exception would be Friends, which I love!

UK
Although i think that we have been borrowing off each other for many a year. I think that the UK has a much subtler humour with more irony and sarcasim.
But there is only one problem with saying the UK, the US elected a idiot war-mongering president and then re-elected him 4 years later you have to admit its bl**dy funny, and maybe they do have a sense of humour after all

U.K. no doubt, most of the successful U.S. comedy is pniched/copied from us anyway. Our humour is more thoughtful, better scripted and not so obvious either - however we did send Benny Hill to

The Yahoo Answers forum inherently limits the ability of humor to resonate with peoples across oceans. What one would be able to understand and relate to in person, is misunderstood here, due to the inability to evaluate tone of voice, facial expressions, etc.

LOL We are laughing all the time !
and LOL! we do it well
What else can we do these days
what a silly question
However !
some of the funniest things ,have come from America
and we have some of the funniest comedians as well.
So I would say our sense of humor,
is equal to that of Amer cans
any day , except maybe Tuesday .~~~~~~~
We all ways have the last laugh, on Tuesdays
LOL!

Can of worms opened and ready for serving.
The UK - but it's more subtle than US humour. They need more slapstick "in your face" kind of humour.
