Time will heal it...yeah, I know. Not much help. But mourning, and that is what a broken heart is, is a process. You have to go through it in order to let it go away. How long is anyones guess, but it will happen. Get out there, look at the trees and the birds(when they come back in spring), rent some dvds you like, rediscover an old hobby, do anything but sit around. But do be prepared to be sad for a while. It is natural. Your smile will return. That is a promise.

I know a student that feels so badly because he has to relearn his math. He leaned some principles that are in error and now sees the fault. It is what he believed would work. His brain doesn't like to relearn anything . The change of chemical memory crystals leaves some residue of unwanted unbalanced chemical waste. It goes into his spinal fluid and he feels bad all over. Even his heart rate slows down. He may never do another math problem with fractions again. I hope you will do another love affair and relearn before you do that secret. The secret is you must never love only one person. Always love two or more lovers at the same time or you will get your heart hurt again.

Only time can heal a broken heart. Get busy doing something you need or want to get done and keep your mind occupied. If you stay busy, you don't have time to think about the pain and it will ease sooner. I don't know why your heart is broken, but I am sorry you are hurting. Keep looking up! This too shall pass!

A borken heart is painful that it goes away when those thoughts subside. I will say that if you believe then Pray about it, and do not expect that pain to go away quickly. Though God is able, there is a lesson that needs to be learned, so your broken heart isnt in vain

Substitution is the law of the world.
Visit sites like the Unicef & Helpage to find out how many people in the world are suffering MUCH MORE than you, struggling just to get a morsel of food.
You'll feel humble in your sorrow & thank God for your very existence.

Why do you think my heart is broken?
I think you meant to ask, how do you heal your heart WHEN it is broken, if ever?
The Bee Gees had the same question: "How can you mend / A broken heart / How can something something something / Please heeeeeelllllllp me mend / My brooooooooken heart / Something something something / La da la da / La da da"
So true, those words.
You'll get over it.
