I have no children, but my legacy will be in how I have helped others. One way I have done this is to give young people a good self-concept and a sense of knowing to look at information for themselves. If this is done, the truth can be found.
I know about 911, and sometime the truth on what really happened WILL come out. Have patience, and teach your children well. Sounds like you are doing a good job.

I want to be the person I want to be. I want to enstill truth and wisdom also in my children (though I have none yet) - but to all people really. Just to let them know things are not always the way they seem, fight for what's right no matter what and just try to do good and be smart.

I think that your ideals are good, but your standards are unreasonable. Some things HAVE to be accepted on faith. For example, prove the following: 1=1.

My kids...definately. Aside from the things you taught your kids, I'm also bringing my kids up not to be spoiled brats, that if they want something they have to earn it, to be good people (follow the Golden Rule), and to not go along with the crowd.
And if the praise that I've gotten from my kids' principal is any indication, I've been doing a damn fine job at it.
(As for Jesus camp, yeah...I've seen the whole thing. Frankly, it horrified me...and I'm generally a person who will fight for another's right to believe as they want to.)

The only legacy I care about is leaving my kids with the knowledge and salvation of Christ.

I want to ensure that the future generations of Earth know that I was in no way associated with this destructive, hateful, disconcerned, war-mongering, two-faced, hypocritical, ignorant, racist, simple-minded, backstabbing, dishonest, unforgiving, greedy, superficial and (especially) pious generation in this planet's history.
Did I cover everything?

No legacy will be left behind by me. I have no direct heirs to my earthly things... therefore... my legacy ends with me.
