Last night I found out I'm pregnant....I havent told my boyfriend yet.
He is stressed out enough already with medical school, that I dont want to add more stress. Also, I'm still a college student, I dont feel like having a baby is right for me at this time. Tommorow we are going out for Valentines day.....should I tell him then?

It is a lot to process, but you two should be discussing this together. I would bring it up to him as soon as possible. I probably wouldn't wait for Valentine's day.

I wouldn’t suggest telling him on Valentines Day. It may end up ruining it for both of you. You might want to first feel it out with him about how he feels about having a baby right now and abortion and such. If it seems like he will go berserk either way you may want to keep the information to yourself and have a trusted friend go with you for any procedure you might decide upon. But if you believe you both can be calm and reasonable when it comes to talking about making the decision to have this child or not then I would plan an evening just to talk privately with him and lay it out then. Just don’t wait too long to make your decision.

Why not wait until after the Valentines? If you can... Just have fun, forget your worries for the night, and enjoy your evening. I think he should know, and you shouldn't have to worry about stressing him out. You didn't get yourself pregnant alone did you? Anyways, good luck either way. You are the only one who can answer your question... maybe you just need more time to think...

To behonest id say valentines isn't the best day to tell him you should decide what you want first before you talk to him i know its his baby to but its your body and if you are not ready for a baby you dont have to. Dont be hurt if he doesn't react brilliantly when you do tell him as its bound to be a shock for him as its something neither have you have planned for. Is there anyone you can talk to that you trust apart from you boyfriend it might help you to talk to someone. Good luck!

Yes, you should tell him. The sooner you tell him the more time that you two have to make the necessary decisions about how to handle the situation. Because if you continue to wait and wait he may come up to the conclusion the baby isn't his or accuse you of trying to trap him. Tell him the next time you see him.

Whatever your decision ends up being regarding your pregnancy he needs to be a part of it. You will need his support no matter what you end up doing. If he finds out you kept something like this a secret from him he will never be able to trust you again and it would most likely ruin your relationship.

Talk to him about it he may surprise you.

I would tell him today.. Don't want to remember the day as a shocking event (in case he is not happy) and if all goes well tomorrow will be a even better celebration!!

Tell him...or don't tell him and take care of the result. If he is a medical student then he should be learning about birth control.

if you are wanting to keep the baby and you think this will be good news for him, then tomorrow would be a good time. if not, you should go ahead and tell him asap, then you can discuss together what your next step will be.
