What is the meaning of this word? Swaray. I am sure that's not how it is spelled. I am just spelling it phonetically so you will understand what I am trying to ask. I thought it meant party or something close in another language, but cannot find anything on it. Help?

I think the word you are referring to is "soiree". It is a french word meaning a formal evening party or an evening of entertainment of any kind. I shall post a link to Allwords.com, showing the definition.
