has any obese people tried the master cleanse diet and if so did it work how much weight did you lose and for how long was you on it for even if you or not obese and have been on the plan i would still love to hear from you

Diet and exercise are the best solution for obesity. A cleanse will do nothing. A person needs to change their lifestyle to lose weight and keep it off long term

I did it last summer and will probably do it again this summer.

You can lose weight on it, but I only lost 5 lbs. (One of the books I read said drink as much of the lemon/maplle syrup drink as you want. Well, I did that for a few days and found out that's way to many calories. I cut myself back and then started to lose weight.)

I only did it for 10 days. I didn't really get hungry except for day #3 and that happened to everyone I know whose done it. We all chewed on the little pieces of lemon pulp in the drink and made it through. :)

I did it for the colon cleanse, although I need to lose weight to. It was hard for me to exercise on the cleanse so I didn't do it long. The cleanse part accomplished what I wanted.

If you haven't already done it, google "Master Cleanse" and there's loads of info.

The following link has a message board so you can ask questions to others who are doing it/already done it as you go through the cleanse. I found it very helpful.

I'm not "obese" but I have tried it a few times. I stayed on it for about 20 days both times. (The first week is the hardest)! I drank A LOT of ICE water. That helped!!! Anyway I lost 25lbs the first time and 18 the second. But then of course both times three weeks after I went off I got pregnant. Go figure!
