Hey Fellas

I have been offered a car, Pontiac Sunfire, 4 door, 2 users, first user a lady, the second my friend.
226,000 km. 1995, good condition, red color, great tires, well maintained. no accidents. he is asking for $1200 CAD. any advices. I am also going to take it to the mechanic, but i would like to have some advice from you guys.

I basically want a car just for a little local running around. my office is just like 10 min of drive. i intend to keep this car for a year or two.

if the mechanic sees no trouble with the brakes, transmission or exhaust it seems like a decent deal.

If you can get another 50,000km out of it before any more $$ needs to be put into it you made a good deal.

try using the online service that tells you the history of the car. For your needs and how long u want to keep it it sounds fine

I think you should take it. its a great price and sounds like its in great condition. i think you should get a mechanic to cheak it out just in case somthing is the matter. if it doesnt work well then you sell it to somone else.
