Most of the times we see that the religion is stopping us from doing something that we love and if we do that, the society does not accept it as good thing. Do you really think that the religion is more important in ones life than any other thing.

Both things go together, some times our religion stops us from doing something, we should try to understand why the religion is stopping us from doing so, and when we get the answer, we should try to see that in a Humane perspective. That is how we can edjudicate that which one is better, Religion or freedom. It is not everytime that freedom is better because the Religion also plays good role in making us a good human being.
I hope this answer would help you.

Freedom is an integral part of any religion worth accepting as a way of life. However, any religion worth accepting will place certain restrictions on your behaviour, which does not necessarily make it unacceptable simply because your personal desires are sometimes in conflict with the religion.

The real test is whether a particular religion enhances or tramples freedom and that is not always easily determined. Ideally, religion and freedom should compiment each other, although at the end of the day, in my opinion, freedom should always trump religion, within the boundaries of the rule of law.

If your religion is stopping you from doing something that you love, then you are in the wrong religion. Under the U. S. Constitution, religion IS a freedom.

No; I think the abilities to think clearly and rationally and make informed choices are more important than either religion or freedom when religion is enforced or when freedom is defined as doing 'whatever we want to do.'

For me it is freedom, beacuse it is something that i think everybody is born with. and without freedom it is nothing. today in this world we talk two every body no matter what country the person is from or what his religion is. we are like a melting pot and overall we all are humans. born on the same planet.

I think that freedom is more important, without it, you have nothing. Religion is a means to control people -- it doesn't grant freedom.

I would say freedom.

With freedom comes the ability to rationalize and choice.

Whereas religion is sometimes a set of guidelines you can follow, but not always.

if u have true freedom u can always have religion as an option
if u have 'true' religion very seldom can u also have freedom
except that freedom that evangelists, priests, pastors, mullahs, shamans, fakirs, prophets, politicians etc etc...who feel (by faith) that they have to tell u what is right
if u pray for me ill THINK for u
