it isn't compatible with vista as many program aren't.

Not much you can do other than give up most of your illegal software or go back to XP.

Vista lures many people with nothing more than eye candy & then delegates what you can or cannot install on your PC.

I also use Vista, but on a dual boot system .....gives me the best of both worlds.
Try that as a solution.

What did you expect?
Didn't you do any research on Vista before you bought it?
Vista does not allow you to run things like that, it's called DRM.
(not to suggest that you should be running cracked software in the first place)
You have only two choices, give up any hope of running any software like that or give up Vista.
