The Tamilnadu Government is bringing out the temple affairs into the hands of non-brahmin to properly manage. I have my own reservations about proper management of the temple affairs in Tamilnadu. I am surprised to find no protests from the Hindus as well as from the brahmins. No God, No Peace; Know God, Know Peace.

Chapter XVIII verses 40-45 guide very clearly that Hindues belong to 4 varnas, Brahmin, Kshetriya, Vaishya and Shudra and castes subcastes came from them. A Hindu is born in this Varna by nature and his prayer/ worship is the job of his own caste/ subcaste. It will lead him to success, mukthi/moksha, and make him perfect. Education, knowledge, patience, teachings, prayers & worship in temples by reading & reciting holy books is meant only for Brahmins and is a sin if done by any other caste Hindu. Last verses of the Holy Bhagwath Geetha further teach a Hindu that he should not leave his own teachings howsoever they may be wrong & false; and should never adopt others' teachings howsoever they may be right & correct. Hence others' cultures shall be ignored howsoever that may be sensible/logical and own culture should not be abandoned howsoever that may be illogical & nonsense.

Modern innocents, unaware of Hinduism and Hindu scripts, bonafidely claim that Varnas and Castes are from the gunas or profession. They need to read and understand the text of Geetha, uncaring self-interpreted commentaries, and allothers who believe and practice any religion. Hinduism is not religion; it is a custom, tradition, usuage, culture, tenets etc. A Hindu can change his anything, but can never change his caste/varna.

Tamilnadu state is very rich in religious heritage. There are thousands of temples in this state. Most of them are popular & are considered one of the richest in the world.
People from all over India visit here from piligrimage point of view.
They make big offerings in form of currency as well as gold, diomand & silver.
Tamilnadu government is trying to manage all the temples . But it will be an offence to the brahmin community if they are not considered a part of the commitee. As cast systems still prevails in this state very strongly.
The brahmins have been ruling the temples since the age of kings. The people too are staunch inn their believes & may support the brahmins.
So it may not be impossible but a bit difficult to rule the temples with all non brahmins in the committe.

Why should there be protest from hindus, for such a good move?
What is wrong in a non-brahmin managing the temple affairs?

When you say God is equal for all, then they (non-brahmins ) also have every right to worship and do all rituals. It is all about telling 'mantras', did the GOD ever oppose this?

Does any GOD or any holy book like Bhagavat Gita says: "Brahmins must only handly my affairs"? - NO.

Then why should we oppose it.

Hindus, Muslims and christains in Tamilnadu are very clear about national unity and all this 'GOD' stuff. That is why there is no fight with respect to religion in Tamilnadu.

Every body in this world are as everydody.Only his brought up leads to the society.Ofcourse there will be some problem with the NON-BRAMMAN taking the temple affairs may have some problem. But it can be sorted out in due course by the well wishers like you.No body was was born with silver spoon. It is we feed. Are we working according to the communal platform,No,it is foreignor and some sort of clever person have for there wims and fancies have segregated and formed the community.atthat time of non-education no body has questioned the Buriacrits and the sufferings being enjoyed till now.You see only trained persons will be put unto the temple and they will defenitely manage. But some sort of distance will be maintained , but please remember the Great saint VIVEKANANDAR delivered his first speech in America and have got applaudes.it is who has ignited him.It is sheer confidence and knowledge.once one get knowledge and confidence in him he will have wisdom to conquer all.Have beleif in them they will do good.

Several myths were created by the Brahmin community and Periyar is the one who shattered and exposed their devious methods. Every race had it's own form of worshipping and prayer. Dravidians have their own culture and Gods. They know how to manage it and they can do much better than Brahmins.

This is one area i really admire Islam. Irrespective of one's birth or race or social status, one can lead the prayer and even a king has to follow him during prayer. A great religion, unfortunately tarnished by the fanatics.

Lord Krishna says in the Bhagavad-gita(4.13) " According to the three modes of material nature and the work associated with them, the four divisions of human society are created by Me."

Therefore, the division of Varna(brahmana, ksatriya etc...) is according to one's guna(quality) and karma(activity as per gunas) and not as per birth.

Narada Muni says in Srimad-Bhagavatam(7.11.35), "If one shows the symptoms of being a brahmana, kshatriya, vaisya or sudra, as described above, even if he has appeared in a different class, he should be accepted according to those symptoms of classification"

So the conclusion is that if one is qualified by guna(quality) and karma(activity) can be involved in the temple affairs though not being born in a brahmin family.
