I think President Carter should send in some helicopters on a secret rescue mission and see if they can keep the sand out of the engines.

I think that it's been over for almost 30 years. The hostages have been safely back home since then.

No, we shouldn't "forget"....but we can't base decisions we make in the present on events that have already been resolved.

reagan shouldn't have interfered with carters efforts to free them. it is a shame reagan used American lives as a political tool to get elected.
