Only way I know of is to download and install the trial-version of Vista or if you're just looking for general information.. goto the microsoft windows website and click on the Vista homepage. And see if the information you're seeking is there.

not really, however all new p.c,s will come with a "vista experience index" so users can choose their new p.c knowing how vista will perform
the "vista upgrade advisor" is the only tool microsoft supply to let user know if vista will run on their system, but it wont give you a experience index
good luck

there is a small program avialable that you can run on your computer to tell you whether it will work with vista. it gives you both hardware and software issues. in my case it told me my games would'nt work with vista. the games are diablo 2 lords of destruction and neverwinter nights. you can get the checker progy here.http://www.cnet.com/4520-13111_1-6687520-1.html?tag=nl.e415
