I have one on my hip and it didn't hurt hardly at all but I do have very boney hips and when he got close to my hip bone it kind of stung a little bit but I know you can get thru it just fine. I have one on the top of my foot and it didn't even kill that bad. And since you do have one on your wrist I would think that would hurt a lot more than on your hip.

Well I have had many friends get tattoos on the ribs, and I'll be getting mine done next year. I have a friend who has a very low pain tolerance and got her's done, She said it really hurt, it was the most painful one she's had. Also, though, it depends on a lot. I think it depends on how thin your are, if you've got a little extra padding, it should help. Also depends on your past tattoos, if your body is used to the sensation, maybe it won't be so bad. Also depends on the artist, if she's pushing and pushing and going over and over it, it's gunna hurt a lot more than someone taking their time. All in all, I'm getting a chest piece and a rib piece next year, I figure, the pain would be worth it, for artwork on my body. I guess it depends on how much you're into it. If you're really that worried about the pain, maybe you shouldn't get one.

The hip is a super sensitive area...so it's definitely going to be a bit more painful, but it's not terrible or anything. I have a rather small one on my hip and I have to say it was a bit more painful than the rest of the ones that I have (I have some that took a few hours) The area is very boney on most people, and the skin is thin...so naturally it's going to sting some. But really, if you've got one on your spine and on your wrist, you should be able to tough this one out. Bring a friend and squeeze their hand, you'll be ok!!

I have a big one in the same spot in the right hip bone area. It doesn't hurt, but if you're a sensitive person it may be a hot spot if you know what I mean. You know when you get a tattoo and they they spray it with something to get the excess ink off and rub and then keep tattooing? Well when they do it in that spot it really tickles...a lot. No worries, though. It's not painful

I have a tattoo going across my stomach under my belly button. It wasn't as bad as other areas, but it was still very sensitive and painful for the most part. My advice is to take a deep breath and hold it in while the artist is actually tattooing (for the stomach that is), because if you're a heavy breather your stomach moving will make things more difficult.

depends on where you are working on the stomach.. the hips shouldn't be bad.. but the stomach can be. you should be fine though. make sure you eat before you go, maybe bring some water or gatorade and relax.
good luck!

I have one, and I did not think it hurt very bad at all. It was uncomfortable, but not painful...It was a weird feeling though, because I could feel the vibrations in by back, lol.

I have a feeling that if you can handle one on your wrist, you'll be just fine. I had my feet tattooed, and after that, I know I can handle tattoos anywhere else!
