I went to one place where they charged 25 for braids is that good?

Sounds good to me. For a more intricate braid style with a "design" you'd pay around $40 or so. It may also depend on the lengtht/ thickness of the hair. Some charge more $ for more hair. Also, if you go in with braids they may charge an extra fee for having to undo the old braids.

It all depends on where you are located, what type of braids you have and the type of hair you have. However, if you are referring to cornrows for a salon that is a fairly decent price. Make sure they are clean and do a good job (meaning not too tight or messy)
