I had one for a courtesy car the other day while my Cruiser was in for service - Plenty of space and a few nice gadgets, but man are they plastic inside!! Depends what you like, but I wouldn't recommend simply because of the plasticness!

I have had my Caliber for 7 months now. I love it. I wouldn't change anything about my car. It gets great gas mileage. Tons of storage areas, very roomy inside (I was able to fit 4 people in the backseat), Chill Zone in the glove carpartment. This is a great car, dodge did good making this.

I've got a loaded RT with the CVT w/ autostick.
I would have prefered a 5 speed manual over the CVT (Not available).
It's not very good in snow with it's 18 inch low profile tires (duh!) but the traction control helps.
There are a lot of blind spots.
Those are the only three negatives I can come up with.
On the plus side, the interior is great, plenty of storage, good seats, lots of bells and whistles. The styling is awesome! When it's all waxed up and looking good, I get a lot of compliments on it. (The 18" rims are killer!) It drives good too. Great brakes, no squeeks, or rattles. Not the fastest car in the world, but using the auto-stick helps it get up and go pretty good.
I've had mine for 4 months now and havn't had a single problem.

The Caliber took the place of the dodge neon. It depends on which model you want. I recommend the SRT-4 model. It looks the best with sporty features and has the most power with 300hp

they seem pretty cheaply made to me, lot of plastic, little underpowered, and im definatly not a fan of the CVT transmission
