Well, I knew as soon as Sho Nuff posted it, Pascal's wager would come up again.. this MUST make me a psychic.
I believe in the Deithe Mor Rhiogan, and I've not lost a thing.. well, those darned socks in the dryer and the remotes are always a problem.

Nothing wrong with Cybele. I'm rather fond of Sehkmet myself and Danu the Mother. I've found that people are too tied up with the "name" of the Divine rather than being kind to one another. I don't care Who you want to worship, just be nice to one another, for God'sake! the name "God" is really a very wide and encompassing title, and it takes in a lot of deities (many of whom I really am very fond of...some, not so well, but well...can't like them all.) Blessing, Dearest.

Cybele is a Goddess of fertility.Another name for her is Astarte, and she is none other than Easter. Brightly colured urns most similar to easter eggs have been found in ancient ruins beneath alters to her, containing the charred remain of children! Who would want to worship a God like her? Or indeed have any thing to do with easter, just because Christendom dress it up with Jesus?

No, I do not get the picture. Your pagan gods won't save you. Of course, God said it best when he said "go and ask your false gods to save you".
So why don't you go ahead and do that, and we'll see how it all turns out, okay?
Best of luck with that.

Chose this day whom you shall serve....If I believe in the God named frog then tadpoles are his angels. Believe as you will, but who wants to go to tadpole heaven?
