That's the estimated population of the earth at the time of the alleged flood.

Victoria: You fail to see my point? How about that the evil of God is so immense that you could climb the dead bodies into space if they were stacked up.

HI XXL,
Interesting perspective, and even more interesting visual image.
The most interesting thing to me is that you often equate all of these "evils" to God (which I know you don't believe in) but never recognise that if these "evils" are all his doing then so are all the wonders and good things.
Anyway, to the point of your question, it is a difficult image you convey. I however, in my effort to understand and progres along continum of entightement, regard this state of being as a mere instant in the continum. The trials of opposition, the temoporal pains and potential suffering along with the pleasure, joy and beauty of the earth are all just points of experience that serve to move us forward in our progression.
If and when God decides that the world or populace is not progressing given their state of denial of truth, he pulls the plug via flood, fire, quake or whatever, I regard it as a mere end to this proving period for those people and nothing more. (and no I do not believe he is responsible for all disasters of nature or wars of men).
That is not to say that I or God for that matter is unfeeling. Quite the opposet. It would appear to me that in the instance you refer, the great flood, it may have been a blessing, endng the suffering of a temporally lost people.
They had achived some of what they had come to earth for, they had received bodies, they had, to varied extents, experienced pleaseure and pain. Indications were that they had departed from the truth to a point of unfeeling or unknowing of the spirit of God any longer and as such there progression had slowed or halted to a point that it was probebly a blessing for many to have this proving period ended.
What about all the babies and children? I belive that as they had not yet reached a point of knowlegde or reason to be accountable for their actions that they were already qualified for the next step in their enlightenment process as they had come here received their bodies and not turned from the truth. As such, having received a physical body and still being pure, thier state was sure.
I think sometimes, more significance is placed on the temporal stuggle and this period than should be when weighed in the process of eternal progression. You and I have different perspectives on evil.
I see evil as the effort to decieve and cause one to willingly depart from truth. You seem to place evil as something that causes temporal suffering. I don't deny that evil could take that form but suffering is not always evil. Niether is death. Each instance must be weighed on it's own merit and considered in the perspective in which it is related.
Your question is relating to temporal death as it relates to God or in other wise measured in the eternities. I just don't see it as having the same significance when considered at that level as you do.
Best wishes, love ya.

I guess we learn something every day. I always had the idea that floods were caused be hurricanes, excessive rainfall, dams giving way, tsunamis, etc. Now I learn that God did it all. He must be quite a guy.
How come you didn't tell us how he accomplished all of this ?
