Here's a choice, Jesus walked on water, he was God's creation, and was chosen to spread the word of God. Chris angel walks on water, with the help of mans creation(which means he really cant walk on water without the help of modern day marvels), Jesus walked on water with what FAITH IN HIS FATHER. Jesus can do anything.

Matthew 8:Jesus Calms the Storm
23Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24Without warning, a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25The disciples went and woke him, saying, "Lord, save us! We're going to drown!"
26He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.
27The men were amazed and asked, "What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!"
So The lord could have simply calmed the water before he walked out to the boat.

No, it wasn't the ocean; it was the Sea of Gallilee.
Nonetheless, it is doubtful that he ever walked on water anyway. That was just a story intended to win more converts to Jesus, back at a time when people didn't know any better, and were not well educated in science and common sense.

When Jesus walked on the sea, there was a storm going on at the time, but that does not mean that He couldn't walk over it. He could've been walking while the waves were hitting His legs.

The waves in the bible are symbolic of people, as the sea is symbolic of lost and wicked people...have you felt the nature of the sea from shore , the way it pulls you in? Jesus is above them and this is a spiritual picture ,allegorical...look up some waves in the bible, start with Jude

In the early Gospels, he was simply asleep in the back of the boat and never walked on water at all. That was borrowed from another God.
