There are some very fine wines in boxes. Most people are familiar with the cheap table wines sold in boxes in grocery stores.
Black Box crafts the world's finest boxed wines. I would suggest some of their Chardonnay.
See also: www.boxwines.org They have a really sweet Muscatel, which I even liked, and I don't like sweet wines.
If you have a Beverages & More in your neighborhood, you find these and many more great wines.
If I have misunderstood, and you are looking for cheap, there's nothing wrong with that. I also drink the cheap wine and have found many good box wines in the lowest price range. Look for Cianti, and Muscatel for sweet.

There really aren't that many boxed wines widely available. I guess that you could try the Merlot, but remember that no red wines (except ports) are "sweet". Some will be fruitier and less dry, but there are very few "sweet", unless flavourings are added.
I guess look for Franzia Merlot or something similar.

I am not a fan of boxed wines but if you feel you must... the only sweet red that i know of in a box is Almaden Sangria. If you expect it to be good i wouldn't hold my breath... or maybe you might have to.

in case you like the reds they're drank room temp. in case you will locate Corbett Canyon in a field that's solid (maximum suitable). next almaden, franzia then vella. in case you go with candy attempt White Zinfendal. that's purple and drank chilly. i do like an ice cube in mine however the wine snobs dont approve. yet wait, they dont approve of boxed besides. so forget that.
