why not. Valentine day is a day of love and i dont think you hate him, again am sure you will say Happy valentine to all your friends and your ex is not your enemy cos you once loved him.
if nothing at all you had special memories together or he/ she helped u one way or the other it just that things could not work for the two of u. pls say Happy Vals day to your ex. he will even respect you. Just send him a text dont add a card or anything to it.

The commercialization of Valentines Day really has been stretched by adding kids and parents and even pets to the list. Valentine's Day is supposed to celebrate the love between 2 people and their commitment to each other, so NO absolutely not is the answer to your question.

The funny thing is I came to the realization that I had to change a little too late. After I was kicked out and after I was about to lose the only things that truly mattered to me - her love. A funny thing happens when we truly love someone and lose them. We do what ever it takes to get them back. For me I had to drop bad habits that had caused not only our relationship to sour but practically every other relationship I had had in the past. Not only with women, but with friends, co-workers, family, you name it.
Which is why I say to you as my ex at the time said to me, the only thing you can do is change yourself. Work on yourself and improve on the person that you already are. Drop the negative things in your life that don't belong there and you will see all of your relationships start to take off to new heights.

Do you love him/her?If not then no you shouldn't. Its supposed to be a day for declaring love, usually to someone who doesn't know that you feel that way. taken over by the trade who see it as a way of grabbing as much money as they can from those gullible enough to fall for the hype.
