No I wouldn't. That is too much to handle in a relationship, and I would be worried about him constantly. I would be a friend to him, but I couldn't be romantically involved. He has issues that need to be resolved. You cannot have a healthy relationship with someone that damaged.

No.. I prefer women.. ;)
Of course, it applies to women also.. if a woman is depressed, suicidal, and confused as hell... I'm not interested. It's extra baggage for me, and she'll drag me down into her messed up life. I'll pass - and stay far and wide from this person.

No, I actually was a similair situation w/my last boyfriend (my child's father). He was very depressed, but not suicidal. My best advice to you would be to try to be a friend and get him help, then see what develps. B/C if you date this person, you will spend all of your time consumed with trying to make him happy. Trust me, its alot!!!! of work. Best of luck to your friend.

welcome to the world of the lost people
two types of this kind of people
the first kind dont understand the meaning of life and he kill him self quickly
the other type when they understand the meaning of life he become very thankful and he become very joyful to life
so try to help him first and understand him and put him on the right track and show him that life is still good and there are alot to live for :)

you need to pass....i have battled depression most of my life and at my lowest point i was completely useless and drove most people away
you dont want to be dragged down in the process...if you arent already in a committed relationship with this guy then you dont want to get into one

I think that you would be setting yourself up for some misery if you did. Instead of dating him, be his friend. Push him to get the help he needs. Be there for him when he needs you, but guard your heart on this one.
