I want to loose 45 lbs in a fastest way possible. My friend suggest me to get a trainer. The problem is my allowance can't support for a long time (e.g 3 months only) but I'm so clueless about fitness and stuffs...what should I do? I need to slim down real quick in 6 months.

Is a trainer (in that short time) can speed up my weight loss?
And because I don't have enough allowance will I need a trainer to maintain the weight if I already get what I want?
Any suggestion how to maintain the weight?

trainers are there to motivate you and suggest what workouts to do and in what rotation.
you probably will not need to keep the trainer after you learn the proper rotation. just keep the rotation and if you can motivate yourself to keep it up, you will do fine. GOOD LUCK.

p.s. be cautious of trainers though, because most trainers at local gyms are actually uncertified and some (not all) make up exercises, that may actually hurt you in the long run.

The benefit of a trainer is that they can motivate you, and it's someone that you can feel accountable to. Other than that, they won't necessarily do anything for you that you can't do on your own.

For what it's worth, I work with a gent who was a trainer. I told him that I primarily do aerobic DVDs to work out and he said that it was great. Again, the downside to THAT is that you might not be motivated to do a dvd over and over again. But I've been doing the Turbo Jam DVDs for quite a while now. I still love them and my clothes fit great.

In terms of maintenance, you just have to realize that your size only stays where it's at if you keep working at it. If you loose weight and go back to your old eating and workout habits, you'll gain weight again. You gotta make it a lifestyle change.

Good luck.
