While I'd understand that he has a child and that he has to maintain a close relationship with his ex, I'd also hate that he was still waiting around for her because that means I'm just a time filler in a way. No self-respecting woman would be willing to wait around for him if she knows for sure that he's also just waiting around for his ex.
So no, I wouldn't date him. However, I'd have to be sure that his heart is still with her and it's not just because I'm jealous of the time he's spending with her and his child.

I would not date him. What would be the point? Making love to him would be hard, because the whole time you would be wondering if it's her on the back of his mind. If he want's to be with her so bad why is he trying to be with someone else. Just because she is the mother of his child, he has to tell her he loves her and all that, well if all his love is going to her then he very much cant love someone else.

To answer your question, Yes, I would want to know. And once I found out he would be dismissed. He could be the sweetest man in the world to you, but obviously his ex has his heart. Why put yourself in that situation?

No. He has not gotten over the ex yet and i would feel like I was just there to fill the void until he could be with her.
