Yeah but apparently nobody had made an "inroad." Imagine busting your cherry WHILE giving birth.

Historically, we know nothing of the birth process.
What we do know is that Joseph and Mary, a married Jewish couple, stuck it out for the sake of their child.
Now, I personally do no believe that God became human in the form of Jesus and I do not believe in the virgin birth concept, but it makes for a good parable about the values of Jewish families - that being the emphasis on family, on sexual morality, on caring for ones kith and kin.
Bottom line - most births are painful, but the pain varies.
Mary could have been one of the lucky few that actually had a pain-free labor & delivery.

I'm sure Mary suffered labor pains like every woman in childbirth does. God is no respector of persons. Mary DID have a choice. She could have said "no" to the angel, but she accepted God's will in the matter. We ALL have choices to make, either serve God or serve the Devil. My choice is God, I live by his commandments and His Holy Word. We cannot serve two masters. We either serve God or Satan, your choice....

Mary as giving birth in pain is simply contrary to the Christian's long tradition of Mary as virginal before, during and after birth. In this view, her intact physical integrity during birth was accompanied by a psychic integrity that admitted of no pains during childbirth in any form. That may be a surprise to some, but it is nonetheless the historical Christian view of this event.
Your presumption that she had no choice shows how very little you understand. The angel came to Mary asking her permission that is explicitly clear in Luke. She accepted, that was her choice. Read up a bit before you show your ignorance.

You would think so - but I think she probably had labor pains due to the fact that all females have to pay the price for "ol Adam being too weak by chomping into the forbidden apple Eve offered him"

Mary had a choice.
And she accepted.
She thought it was a privilege.
Since we weren't there (and the bible does not say distinctly) how do you know Jesus didn't just slip out?

UNCERTAIN -- but Scripture says this, "To the Woman He said, I will grealy increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children."

Mary was physically no different than any other woman in this regard.

According the Qur'an, she did. Here are three English translations of the verse:
019.023
YUSUFALI: And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree: She cried (in her anguish): "Ah! would that I had died before this! would that I had been a thing forgotten and out of sight!"
PICKTHAL: And the pangs of childbirth drove her unto the trunk of the palm-tree. She said: Oh, would that I had died ere this and had become a thing of naught, forgotten!
SHAKIR: And the throes (of childbirth) compelled her to betake herself to the trunk of a palm tree. She said: Oh, would that I had died before this, and had been a thing quite forgotten!

I think she had pain just like every woman has pain when giving birth.
