A Stay at Home mom is a job...

Good Luck with it... It doesn't pay much money wise..
but the enjoyment and rewards for being a stay at home mom
is more than money could buy..

I was wondering the same thing so I put an add in the local newpaper for four days saying "stay at home mom wants to work at home ten years plus computer experience types 92 wmp" and I got a job. Now I am emailed things that need to be typed and send it back and make secretarial calls from my home phone. It pays 15 dollers an hour and all it took was a little bit of initiative on my part and offering a skill that I had. Mabye brainstorm something you can offer the business community and capitolize on it.

Keep two other babies! I cleared 250 a week from two and no up front cost! You just need some references! The parents supplied diapers and formula!!!!!!!!!Try to find mon-fri clients! Then weekends are free for you and your child! I even charged the 125 even if missed a day! I ran it just like the daycares would on cost! Check your area daycare cost, to know what you should charge!!!!!!! I did this with the same 2 for 2 years! Never had to get new clients! Good luck!

I had a lot of trouble finding one too. I came up with this: and it won't work for everyone. I deliver a newspaper. I get up at 2 am, finish at 4:30 and go back to bed until the baby wakes up. Then I nap with her in the afternoon. It doesn't bother me to get up for a couple hours, but it might be hard for some people. The money is REALLY good, especially considering it's part time. It's full time pay.

I tried mystery shopping: can't make much.
I looked into medical transcribing: hard to find legitimate companies.
I looked into at home telemarketing, but you need to guarantee there won't be any background noise (like a baby crying) YEAH RIGHT!
I tried ebay, but it was a lot of work. For the time I put in, it wasn't worth the return I was getting.

Lots of luck
