What do you want to download? Usually there is a "download" link i.e. when you update windows.

Can you be more specific.

Click on a link that end in anything else besides .html, .htm, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg and so on that your cannot support in a window. Save it on your HD and there.

click the link and save as it to your desktop
