I have really healthy teeth but I may brush them too much, that's why I think the spots are from fluoride. Could something as simple as brushing less often help? They are just really tiny spots on the very bottom of my teeth.

Get fluoride free toothpaste. And use Hydrogen Proxide to use as mooth wash. Brittens your teeh in no time and get rid of the spots. Use one cap full of the porxide and leave in you mouth for 5 mins then spit it out. It works I do it myself.

If it's fluorosis, you've had it since you got those teeth. Fluorosis happens from within the tooth so it is not reversable. You would have taken in too much fluoride (swallowing toothpaste or rinse, too much fluoride in the water, etc.) as a kid while your teeth were still developing. People pretty much can just "hide" them with a white filling or veneer.

If it is the start of a cavity where it's just a bit of decalcification on the enamel, you can actually try to remineralize it by using fluoride (paste or rinse) and chewing gum with xylitol in it. It may not go away completely, but you can stop the decay process so that it doesn't get any worse plus strengthen your enamel.

white spots mean decalcification. Did you have braces as a kid? I had braces and I have a tiny white spot on one of my teeth that my professor pointed out to me was a decalcified area. However there is no problem with decalcification if you get regular dental care and use a fluoride toothpaste. My tooth has a permenant white spot, but it recalcified (with fluoride) over the spot and I do not have any cavities (which result from decalcification). So just ask your dentist about it and get regular dental cleanings, brush and floss.

sure, it would desire to be the flouride. I actual have white spots on my grownup the teeth and my mom asked the dentist why. They asked approximately my flouride intake and concluded that that became the reason--while i became a baby/youthful toddler, my mom and dad did no longer think of our homestead's water had flouride in it, so as that they have got been giving me some thing else to furnish flouride that the pediatricion reported (i'm able to't remember what it became). So quite plenty I have been given so plenty better than i mandatory and it brought about my everlasting the teeth to have white spots. In my case it won't circulate away, yet fortuitously it is not overly major in case you save your different the teeth sparkling. In his case, nicely the grownup the teeth don't have the spots while they improve in besides the indisputable fact that it would desire to be everlasting on his toddler the teeth now. i'm no longer probably valuable how flouride remedies paintings, so perhaps it is not everlasting. Why no longer ask his dentist to be certain?

Brushing to much is bad for your teeth. It wears away your enamel and leads to tooth decay and loss. Brush once or twice a day, and floss three times a day.
