Many, many, many, myths exist about "precum." They are there to scare teens away from sexual encounters.

The ONLY way sperm can be present in precum is if there had been a previous ejaculation. Sperm is created in the testes. While precum is created in the cowpers gland. The point of precum is to clean out the urethra in the male. This is so the semen has a better chance of survival because urine kills sperm.

So, if a mans previous ejaculation was a few hours ago, and he had urinated before the next sex act. Then his precum would not contain sperm.

Heres how precum can get you pregnant. If a man ejaculates and doesn't urinate before engaging in more sexual activity, then sperm is possibly still in the folds of his urethra. When the precum cleans out the urethra it pushes the sperm out.

So for example, if I ejaculate at 10 pm. Then at 11pm I have sex, if I haven't urinated between the two events then there will be sperm in my precum.

A lot of people will tell you that they got pregnant from the "pull out" method. And say it was because of precum. Most of these people are lying to you. The other half got pregnant becaus either their partner didn't pull out in time, or after pulling out they engaged in intercourse again and the precum pushed sperm still hidden in the urethra out.

PRECUM ALONE WILL NOT GET YOU PREGNANT!

Now am I saying have sex w/o protection and just pull out? NO!!!
Precum has been found to contain HIV. Along with the risk of getting an STI.

Yes, but not as easily.....about 4% likelyhood under the right circumstances when the pull out method is done perfectly,. However the pull out method has a fail rate of 15-28% because it is usually done improperly......see links below.

YES YOU CAN. I know for fact because my friend was having sex with her boyfriend and he pulled out before he came and she got pregnant. It is not a myth, it is real and can happen. If you have sex then there is ALWAYS a possibility that you can get pregnant.
