Remind yourself that you don't need hope to live. Life is just the absence of death, and aslong as you wake up each morning, your life is a success. Ride it out, this too will pass.

You have not lost all hope! You posted this question with the expectation someone would answer with a solution. You may be very depressed and in a self defeating cycle of negativity. The only people with out hope are those on death row after their last appeal has been rejected 5 minutes before the hour of their execution. "Hope springs eternal in the human breast!" Even they may finally be moved to try praying.

About that depression and negative thinking. Negative thinking results in a down feeling which may result in more negative thinking etc. The thing you have to do is break up your habit of thinking negatively by willing your self to think about positive things, like the positive answers coming in here from your post!

Try and recall something positive in your life, something or someone you love and who loves you in return and dwell on that. It may be hard at first because the pattern of thinking negative/feeling down/thinking more negatively etc. is hard to break. Once you have been thinking positive things the down feeling will start to lift. Don't slide back into a negative thought. When you feel better do something concrete, as suggested by these many positive answers, to solve your problems.

Good Luck, God Bless, Peace and Love!

Wake up and know yo are better than that. Know that you did not put the effort into thinking around things and that good things will happen when you get off your ****, meet the world, strive for the thing you are passionate about and work to the max to achieve your goal.

You lose all hope because you got disorentated because of an incident that was significant to you (that may lead to a chain of other dependent events happening). Get back on track and you will be fine.

Have you tried a doctor, for some medicine to help with depression. You do not say in what capacity your hope has been lost. Keep busy. Just take one day at a time--one moment at a time. Talk to someone. Sometimes just talking helps. E-mail, I will listen.
Good luck

suggestion read the book The Secret

Stop and focus on all the things you have to be thankful for. Yeah your life is in chaos, your mind won't stop replaying the bad things and your emotions are in turmoil but you have to find something in your life to be thankful for.

Your here, your breathing, your alive to live another day and all the bad will pass away.

Despite it all, your worthy, your worth is not determined by what your dealing with in life, your worthy because your here and your alive and your strong and you can turn your life around with the snap of a beautiful new thought.

live for tomorrow..sing a song, smell the air, be thankful for this.

Declare to the universe that your worthy and you deserve happiness. Stop focusing on the bad and feeding your soul with negativity.

Know life isn't static and everything changes and nothing remains the same.

we all have angels that take charge over us while we are here, reach out to the unknown, reach out to the unseen, close your eyes and sincerely ask with your heart for healing and assistance with dealing with life. Have faith that you will be answered.

Instantly do something to totally divert your mind.
It's very very hard to be "miserable" when you have some loud cheery music playing and you'e dancing like a plonker in your living room.
Read a good book, fill a nice hot bubble bath with music in the background - anything to divert your mind.

Distract yourself for a while. A simple movie, or walk, etc.
If you can, get outside of your own stuff by finding a way to help someone who has it worse than you. Good luck.

Cheese A, that's a horrible thing to say!
If you lose hope, just do something that makes you happy. If you can't, daydream for a while, it'll lift your spirits.
