Allah claims he authored the book and it can't be changed.
114. Say: "Shall I seek for judge other than Allah. - when He it is Who hath sent unto you the Book, explained in detail." They know full well, to whom We have given the Book, that it hath been sent down from thy Lord in truth. Never be then of those who doubt.
115. The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfilment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all.

E.T. the translation argument is the very same argument that Muslims have used to call the Bible corrupt....If the Bible is corrupt because of bad translations than you have just said the same of the Qu'ran
Relax the is one of the few truths in the Qu'ran the word of God is not corrupt he is indeed all knowing and his word is aways true what kind of God would we have if we could not trust his word...If he had to give us his word and then a promise...His word is good enough he is God and he is all knowing and all powerful and Muslims insult him everytime they call his word corrupt.

Say (O Muslims), 'We believe in God, and what has been revealed to thee, and what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes, and what was given to Moses, and Jesus, and the prophets from their Lord,- we will make no distinction between any of them,- and we are unto Him resigned. Q3:84
These previous Revelations include the following:
We did reveal the Torah (Tawrat), wherein is guidance and a light ... Q5:44
And already have we written in the Psalms (Zabur) after the reminder that the earth shall my righteous servants inherit.' Q21:105
Subsequent to them, we sent Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming the previous scripture, the Torah. We gave him the Gospel (Injil), containing guidance and light, and confirming the previous scriptures, the Torah, and augmenting its guidance and light, and to enlighten the righteous. Q5:46
The Quran, the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel are all the Word of Allah.
God's Word does not change.
We know the scripture previous to Jesus and the Gospel are true God kept his Word even telling us through the Quran.
Jesus came to fulfill the scripture. He confirmed this with one of his last words. "It is finished."

Brother you have read this verse and intrepreted it to suit
and support your fundamentals.and why did tyou stop only at
verses 114 and 115 and did not go futher to verse 116.
Now in sura 6; 14 Allah the almighty commands the prophet
Muhammad [ peace and blessings be upon him ] to say to the
disbelievers who were trying to convince him that his message
to worship only one God was against their traditional beliefs
of multiple Gods and Idol worship, and that he was preaching
an absurd concept, that how could he take their Gods as the
true Gods when the one true God ,Allah the almighty has send
down to him the book [ referring to the holy Quran ] that explains
everything in detail;Allah the almighty then refers to the people
who had recieved the scriptures earlier [ namely the Jews and
the christians who had recieved the old and the new testament]
that even they were aware that this Quran was from his lord and
it is the truth[ because his comming as a messenger with an
eternal message was foretold in the old and the new testaments]
and hence he should not have any doubts about his mission nor
of the message being revealed to him. Thus by choosing him
[Muhammad , peace be on him] as his messenger to deliver
the eternal message to mankind Allah the almighty has kept
his promise in truth and justice. He futher assured the messenger Muhammad [ peace and blessings be upon him ]
that none would be able to change the words of the Quran in other words He almighty God would protect it from being
corrupted.
In verse 116 ; Allah cautions the prophet [ peace and blessings
be on him ] not to follow or obey those disbelivers who were trying to sway him away from his mission,as they would mislead him away From the path of truth as they follow their own whims and desires and all they do is lie.
We know for certain that Allah is talking about the Quran because
it is the only Religious scripture on the face of this earth that has
stood the test of time and not a single word has been changed
since it was revealed 1400 years ago.Non has been able to
prove a single mistake in the quran or a contridiction in the
religion and it still exists in the original form.
The bible on the other hand does not exist in the original form
today it has been revised and re- revised to change according
to meet the beliefs and concepts of the catholic church. There
are hundreds of scientific errors, unfulfilled prophecies,
contradicitions, mathemathical errors, biological errors, zooligical and geographical errors, even the creation of
the earth is unbelievable , there are numerous errors in the
bible that the church cannot explain and there have been so
many changes that no two bibles are identical some have done
away with whole chapters and one can say with truth that the
bible you have in your hand is not the original gospel of jesus as
we all know that god does not make mistakes.
I would like to clarify that as muslims we have the higest respect
for Jesus[ peace be on him] as a mighty messenger of Allah
the almighty and we believe in all the messengers of God sent
earlier and we believe in the original text revealed to mooses and jesus [ peace be on them ]

I HAVE NO PROPLEM WITH TAHT AT ALL ---I DO BELIEVE IN THAT --GOD IS THE BEGINING
there book made some sense to me
ok is bible 67 books or 73 books ?????????
u still did not answer any of my questions 67 or 73
and what about all this contradictions ??????
this is ur understanding of the verse ----who justified this way ??
so why the word of GOD is shorten in some bibles-----and even in king James version ---i have 2 verses is missing from an older

Salam :) i'm a Muslim teen residing in Canada. I positioned on hijab alhamdullilah and that's for the main section conventional right here provided that i stay in a brilliant city with a large Muslim inhabitants. I do get the few ignorant comments and idiots in college however who ask stuff like "yo have been given a bomb under there hahaha". however the toughest section is being diverse out of your pals. Being a Muslim, events, alcohol relationship boys wearing revealing outfits and so on is haram, and mutually as i do no longer choose to try this besides, that's a splash awkward to would desire to describe why i do no longer do it to those who evaluate it purely element of being an adolescent and its common to them. Muslims residing in Muslim international places easily have it greater common while it is composed of installation in. And with nutrition that's a splash difficult yet I continually attempt to envision the label if i'm unsure of the climate. yet i would not wanna be the different faith no count how confusing it gets and the way diverse i've got faith from definitely everyone else, i'm happy to be Muslim :)

yes the Quran will never change from its true form. was that your question?
this is another translation of 6:114
PICKTHAL: Shall I seek other than Allah for judge, when He it is Who hath revealed unto you (this) Scripture, fully explained? Those unto whom We gave the Scripture (aforetime) know that it is revealed from thy Lord in truth. So be not thou (O Muhammad) of the waverers.
it clarifies that they are talking about the Quran and not the Bible. The later verse is referring to the Bible. No The book of Moses was the Bible I never said it was the Quran. They are talking about the bible in verse 6.154 but verse 6.114 is talking about the Quran and that is specified by the 2nd translation. And no one can change Gods words--that is still true, even for the Bible. as the person below me said--the books were changed by man and it does not change God's real words. The truth is still the truth.
noooo you are making it more complicated than it is. ok the arabic is still the arabic but the translations vary a little because of the different translators. the translations say the same thing but in different ways. the other translation is correct also but it doesnt clarify that they are talking about the Quran thats why I gave you the second one.
And no the Book of Moses is not the Quran--its the Bible!
no the Bible at the time of Muhammad (pbuh) was accurate but it is not today. Both the Bible and the Quran are words of God.
This is the original Quran which we still have today--no one can change the Quran. People have been memorizing it for such a long time.
http://www.answering-christianity.com/quran/noble_quran_mss1.jpg
The bible is also the book of God and I respect it still. But some things have been altered. I do not believe that Jesus was the son of God or even that he said that he was.
11:110
We certainly gave the Book to Moses, but differences arose therein: had it not been that a word had gone forth before from thy Lord, the matter would have been decided between them, but they are in suspicious doubt concerning it.
5:13
And because of their breaking their covenant, We have cursed them and made hard their hearts. They change words from their context and forget a part of that whereof they were admonished. Thou wilt not cease to discover treachery from all save a few of them. But bear with them and pardon them. Lo! Allah loveth the kindly.
aaahhh you dont quit do you!??
11:110 is enough statement. how does that make Allah a liar? It says that God's word will not change. Changing the book does not make the word false. as i said before the truth will remain the truth. it does not refer to different translation. different translations have only slight modifications to clarify things.

i hope this helps

The Holy Prophet seeks no other standard of judgement save Allah's will. He knows that Allah, in His grace, has explained His will in the Quran. The people are warned not to be among those who doubt.
Tammat - fulfilment or perfection - refers to the following conclusions.
1. Perfection of the religion of Allah after the announcement of the wilayah of Imam Ali at Ghadir Khum - refer to verses 67 and 3 of al Ma-idah .
2. The fulfilment of the promise of sending the comforter, the spirit of truth (the Holy Prophet).
3. The fulfilment of the promise of help given to the Holy Prophet on several occasions - Badr, Uhad, Khaybar etc - when the Holy Prophet and Islam were saved by the hand of Allah (Yadullah).
"There is none who can change His words" is a challenge that the Quran, the revealed word of Allah, will never, be tampered with or made to lose its originality and genuineness
To save the Quran from tahrif (change), under the command of Allah, the Holy Prophet left the Quran in the safe hands of his Ahl ul Bayt.
Edit:
You're so narrow minded you can't even read the answer properly, you're clearly trying to find something that will stop Muslims from picking all the holes in the Bible. No one can change his word is refering to the Quran.
We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).[Quran 15:9]

I explain it the same way I explain all such passages in all "holy books."
Why should I believe this book?
Because it proceeds from a Higher Source.
How do I know that it proceeds from a Higher Source?
Because it says so.
Ok then, Allah be praised.
That's all there is to it. "Faith" is blind belief in something because you've been told that you ought to believe.
On a purely practical level, warnings not to "change so much as the style of a letter," with appropriate curses leveled on those who do, were ways of ensuring the vigilance and fidelity of scribes, just as curses chiseled on tombs were intended to intimidate graverobbers.

Allah never picked up a pen and started writing the Qur'an. He passed the words to Gabriel, who then told them to Mohammed, who in turn recitated those words to his followers. Mohammed's followers wrote down his recitation and this became the Qur'an. So yes, it is still the words of Allah, but penned by man.
Edit: Yes, I do believe the Old Testament of the Bible.
