I REALLY wanted you to know that you can EASILY never have to deal with another horrible, awful, nasty cold-sore for the rest of your life!!

I got them every winter my whole life until 3 years ago (I'm 36 now) and they were the BANE of my existence...the whole process took weeks to heal and would leave a scar for at least 2 months sometimes!

I was reading a message board on www.curezone.org and discovered the PERFECT remedy for both healing them and preventing them completely:
OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT

So, I buy the liquid tincture by "HerbPharm" and it has not failed me ONCE...Whenever I'm feeling drained, tired, stressed, or get that tingly feeling on my lip, I just load up on this stuff.

This is the one I buy:

You can also get Olive Leaf at Whole Foods Market, and other natural food stores.

Very cheap.

The first time I tried it, I was actually halfway into a major eruption and I drank a bunch of the extract in some water.
AS I WAS DRINKING the stuff down, I could feel the swelling on my lip shrinking...I was in such shock--I ran to the mirror--it was shrinking before my eyes and within ten minutes my lip had returned to NORMAL...I began kissing the bottle of Olive Leaf...yeah, I really did!!

I had tried everything in the past...I can't begin to tell you what I went through...and it's now been 3 YEARS since I've had one!

I've been in the Alternative Medicine field for some time now, and offer individualized consultations:

Not much will "speed" up the process. OTC cold sore creams may lessen the symptoms by at best a day. There is speculation that lysine (an herbal vitamin) may help prevent them, but there's limited evidence to support this. Denavir is a prescription cream, but the same deal as with OTC products. You're really stuck with a cold sore. Even the creams are pointless for the most part if you don't use it when the cold sore is just starting, like just a red mark.

If you are using the standard creams etc, then the only other thing you can do is relax and let them work!
The sores will come on when you are stressed and/or run down so getting worked up about their being there really won't help. Try taking a daily multivitamin, and generally looking after yourself to avoid them coming back too often.

I tend to get cold sores easily. I tried cold sore creams and such. However, someone advised me to try Tea Tree Oil and Lysine. And it worked!!!!
100% Tea Tree Australian Oil
and Lysine capsules will work (remember to take them on an empty stomach, so that the lysine sets in.)
I prefer natural remedies as compared to over the counter products. Trust me this works!!

Good luck!

BTW: A healthy diet while you have a cold sore helps..
Cut back on Caffine, a lot of sugar these may have an affect on your cold sore. Diet is always a factor.

i suffer from cold sore too... actually currently i'm suffering... but i know how to reduce them to 3-4 days duration... or less... I take lysine supplements..... avoid chocolate and other caffeine .... i use the over the counter lip balms, but they all seem to be pretty equal so i have bought all of them and use them interchangeable..... I'm also trying tea tree oil on it as well... recently.. i think on this site in fact i read that taking valtrex works... i know all the commercials make it seem like its just for genital herpes but it can be used for cold sores.. except with the case of cold sores only take it at the 1st sign of a tingle.. for genital herpes i think its once daily... (no i dont have genital herpes i just watch a lotta tv)...... right now im taking Famvir... which is another genital herpes medicine but my doctor says its = to Valtrex........

i hope all this helps.. i havent gotten a cold sore in like a year or so... but i recently go it cuz ive been extremely busy... stressed out ...havent been sleeping or eating well... and practically 99% of my school is sick...and i baked a chocolate cake this weekend... so my immune system is working on over drive.....

Penny stocks are loosely categorized companies with share prices of below $5 and with market caps of under $200 million. They are sometimes referred to as "the slot machines of the equity market" because of the money involved. There may be a good place for penny stocks in the portfolio of an experienced, advanced investor, however, if you follow this guide you will learn the most efficient strategies https://tr.im/e3f14

I hate 'em. Once I start to feel them coming I put on that stuff called LIP MEDEX by blistex. Its awesome stuff. Its like vaseline, looks like it but dont smell like vaseline. Hahahaha
But this stuff works great if you catch the cold sore just as its coming in.
