Our puppy is just having her first season and so far she has been on for 18 days, and we have had blood the whole way through, she should be finish in a few days.
For all dogs it can be different but generally 2 - 3 weeks, sometimes you have blood present the whole way and others stop bleeding at around 11 days, from day 11-16 is prime time for her to conceive so be especially careful around this time.

it all depends on the size of the dog the smaller the shorter, but usually the longest it lasts is 2-3 weeks for a smaller breed it may be 1-2 but just like humans the time may vary so don't be alarmed if it does, but i will warn you if it does last longer than a month i would take her to the vet.

I can't understand why this question always gets ask. I think people don't really read the question and answer thingy here. For the million and one time a female will stay in heat 3 weeks.

I heard it is usually 2-3 weeks, however that is only if she is near male dogs. If kept alone , it will last 8-10 days.. correct me if I am wrong..
