Having seen the behavior of my fellow brothers in the middle east and in this country. I now believe that christianity is the one true faith and Islam is for the true infidels. Which do you think the best christian faith to convert to is??

There is only one Christian faith. I think that you are mixing this up with denominations. Denominations are concerned with style of worship but the Anglicans, Methodists, Baptists and Free Church all believe the same thing that Jesus is the Son of God and died for our sins. Also in the Holy Trinity God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit three in One. All that repent of their sins and accept Gods way as their way of life are forgiven.
Even though I am a Christian first (denomination comes second) I would advise you to think carefully before you change religion. In any belief there are people who do not paint a good picture for that belief. We also have to consider that nobody is perfect and so should we judge them.
Hope this helps.

You should go for one of the ones that stick to the Nicene creed viz
Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant, Non-conformist Baptist, Pentecostal, Coptic.

This is because you're taking on ideas that vary from the gospel message if you go for Jehovah's Witness, Mormons or such like sects. You might get saved through them, depending on whether they lead you into the qualifying state of belief in Jesus as your redeemer, and raised-from-the-dead son of God, but some of their doctrine is regarded by the above churches and any real church denomination as faulty and might deflect you from being able to fulfil God's entry conditions into His Kingdom, and mess up your understanding later.

I personally like the Elim Pentecostal denomination but was brought up in Church of England churches.

Wrong idea. They are all same . Haven't you heared the saying 'it is greener on the other side. Actually Christians are the worst. If Christians didn't come there to begin with none of this would have happen. They will come as merchants, missionaries, peace keepers, voyeurs, through u.n and all sorts of ways. Then they establish there. There is a saying when missionaries came to Africa, the Africans had the land and missionaries had the bible. But later missionaries had the land and the Africans had the bible. I think there is only two type of Muslims in the world. But there are more than 2000 groups of Christians, all fighting each other. And none of them truly follows Jesus. Do you know what Gandhi said about christians. The picture comes to his mind is 'a guy with liquor in one hand and meat in the other. I don't think this is what you want.

Well I hope you do not just pick according to what someone else prefers. Since Chrisitanity is a faith, then it will take faith in God to lead you to the right denomination. Faith is quite a complex concept though, so I advise that you tread carefully, because the church (in general) has false prophets or false teachers who mislead gullible Christians. All the best.

Simply believe to Jesus. He is LOVE ! The protestant Church is a good one. The evangelical also. But even with out a "religion" if you believe to Jesus, and stay there in Him, you are simply free to give the best from you, and not any robot that must follows a boss.
Jesus is Love. Read the Bible, and keep it into your heart.
GREAT!!!!!

Don't worry about denominations just read the Gospels and pray then ask Jesus into your life and ask for forgiveness for your sins . Then when your ready get baptised it might be a good idea to join a small local church so you can get support on your journey . An Alpha course might be an idea check out your local church. God Bless.

It doesn't really matter as long as you believe in god and treat your fellow human beings as you would like to be treated. religion has been the cause of most of the world's problems. Where was the Pope when the IRA were killing and maiming innocent people? Are there any moderate muslims? Why won't Israel accept that Palestinians should have their own land again? Why am I rambling?

May be the Unitarians' faith is closest to faith of Islam. But you are judging on the study of persons practicing a faith. May be the persons around you are nominal practitioners... and do not follow its pristine values!

I think you should try a non denominational Christian church. Personally, I have been to different Christian churches and those are the best. Make sure you go to a church where you feel welcomed and also try different ones out.
Don't try Catholic...its weird there!! You ask for forgiveness to a priest not God, you pray to Mary who isn't God, and whole lot more..
