I would go to your doc. for a check-up. Bloods clots are nothing to mess around with.

It depends on where it is located in your body. If it is in your calf (occurs usually with an extended period of inactivity like sitting on a plane on a very long flight, or being on bedrest after a surgical procedure), it might be painful in your calf. DO NOT RUB it or do anything to it, as it can dislodge it and it may then travel to your heart, causing a heart attack, or to your brain and cause a stroke. One thing to check to see if you have a blood clot in your calf is to extend your leg, then pull your toes up toward your head. If that increases your pain, that is a sign that it is a blood clot. If this is the case see your doctor immediately as it can be life threatening. Heart attack and stroke are two more results of a blood clot blocking circulation. It can go to your lungs to, causing difficulty breathing and it may travel from there. It is an extrememly serious situation.

It depends on where you think the clot is.

I had one in my lower leg once and it was very painful. It was almost too difficult to walk on. Swelling of the same leg was also a warning sign.

If you think you have one there is no other way to go than to go to you're doctor.
