You need to check out a dental school/college in your area. They usually charge less, since they're still learning & need the practice. :)

Not sure where you live, but check the telephone book for Dental colleges. Also, if you live in a town that has a "university" type hospital (a teaching hospital), check for a dental program there. They will have guidelines that that have to follow, so they may not be able to do the work, but that is where to look.

dentists do not take out impacted wisdom teeth. ORAL surgeons surgically remove them. It is usually covered under your regular health insurance if you have it.
