i've been told that it opens the pores in your mouth making it easier to cause cancer. whether that's based in fact, i have no idea.

Smoking tobacco causes all kinds of cancers, including tongue cancer. The gum has little or nothing to do with it.

No, but the smoking might do the trick. Try to give up the smokes, and just chew gum. I used to smoke, so I know how hard it is to get rid of them. I hope you have good success. You are trying to quit aren't you ?

I guess it's viable, i'd advise going to get checked out at medical professionals as soon as viable. Alternatively would it be only a mouth filled with ulcers as smoking could strongly make them extra irritated. Either way supply it yet another day or so; if it would not resolve or will get worse i am going to the loved ones doctor to get checked out. The intense aspect is if it's any severe you caught it early. Exceptional of good fortune

ahhaa sweet question...but smoking alone can cause cancer with or without gums
