i was and so was my best mate. so i guess there must be lots. but still not enough is being done about it.

The number of children being abused on daily basis is an outrage. CY-FD needs to be more ALERT in certain cases. Don't give the children back to an abusive parent or anyone who abused them. It's that simple. Why let the children endure more pain. Learn to say enough is enough. Save the CHILDREN. Better background checks would be a wonderful idea.

I work in this profession, and do so in a city of 500,000. Approximately 50-100 child abuse referrals come in on any given day. Approximately 60% of those are substantiated. You can extrapolate that across the entire country to get a total of approximately 3000 referrals a day. Way too many.

I'm not sure but I'm sure the number is unbelievable. It sickens me to know that children are abused in so many different ways.. sexual abuse, physical, mental, starvation....I still believe in the Old Testament--an eye for an eye---I bet the crime rate would drop DRASTICALLY if everyone would be in favor of that new law!!!!!

their is a lot of children abused every day their has benn 2 in the news i think people who do this is sick in the head i know as i was abused when i was young by my brother

There are far too many and that is the biggest sin that anyone can ever commit. How could anybody harm an innocent child.

Im not even going to ask why you want to know this. If its out of morbid curiosity then youre a freak. But if its for a legit reason then contact the NSPCC or Childline, theyll have figures

I saw a billboard that said "feeding a child meat is child abuse". If you count that, it is many million. There are many who need spankings that aren't getting them. Is that child abuse?
