I just want the basic nero software used for burning cds and dvds, and not the premium package with all the extra features. Where can i get it?(nero.com only offers the whole package)

U can download Nero Lite.........it has all the basic features u need.......no frills, no extras...u can search for it in any of the downloading sites......such as www.downloads.com, www.softpedia.com , etc.............Nero Lite is ur best bet..........

Try Getting OEM versions through Amazon stores; You can get them very cheap, and its all totally legal.

Basic only comes with new CD-DVD burners. That is the only way I know of.
You could also try download.com

Go get the OEM version...you can probably find it for less than $10.
