I must agree with the others, so far. I don't think you can find any "substantiated" documentation why one would be a better parent than another. Anything you would find would only be from someones own personal experience, or perspective.
Granted, woman are the ones who give birth, and have the ability to breast feed. Outside of that, the rest is about nurturing, love, compassion, and desire to be a good parent. I know as many men as women who can and do fit into those categories. They may go about it differently, but a fathers love is equally as important as a mother's.
Clearly, men and women may think on different levels, scales, and abilities. But that's just diversity, which is good for children.
Being a good parent is simply easier for some than others, based on perspective, patience, desire, experience, knowledge and abilities to multitask. How many of us with more than one child, wish we knew when we had our first, what we did when we had our second. Each child teaches us something more, new, and different. It's more about what you choose to learn and take forward with you.
Just my thoughts.

Why would one be better than the other?
I don't think you will find many sites with this type of information, which is totally subjective at any rate!
Either sex can be a wonderful parent. It just depends on the couple or the situation.
Why would any doctor state that a woman is better equipped to be a parent? I've seen many cases of women leaving their newborns to die in garbage bins...
To say that one sex is better than the other is nonsense.

I don't think that you would find too much of that sort of opinion. It takes two to make a baby, and general opinion is that each parent has their role to play.
I have seen both do it really well, and both stuff it up too.
